Welcome to Parfitt Podiatry where we specialise in both Podiatry and Chiropody treatments

Podiatry

Foot, ankle, knee or back pain?

Do you get tired from standing for too long or after short periods of walking?

Poor upper body or tiredness can often be attributed to foot type i.e. flat feet or very high arches. Hypermobility and being “double jointed”, can also lead to postural tiredness since the muscles of the leg and foot have to work harder due to soft ligaments at the foot and knee joints. Upper body posture poor? Certain foot types lead to knee, hip and back pain.

Other conditions we commonly treat: bunions, Mortons Neuroma, plantar fasciitis, hammer toes, clawed toes, heel spur, Severs Disease, Patello-femoral knee problems, Tendo Achilles, tendopathies, Knees (meniscus, ligament problems), Shin Splints, flat feet, hypermobility.
